Stream Energy Supports the Fuel Fund of Maryland with Donation
Non-Profit Assists Low-Income Families in Maryland with Energy Needs
DALLAS – Stream Energy announced today that it has made a donation of $5,000 to the Fuel Fund of Maryland. Fuel Fund provides life-saving resources to vulnerable Maryland families for heat and home utility needs.
“In these tough times, many families need extra help to get through,” said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder. “Fuel Fund provides critical support to many people, irrespective of who their energy providers are, and Stream Energy is pleased to help its efforts.”
“The Fuel Fund of Maryland is grateful for the support of Stream, and we look forward to developing a more dynamic partnership in the coming years,” said Bill Freeman, development director of Fuel Fund. “Marylanders receiving life-saving energy assistance and conservation education will benefit from the generosity of Stream and the energies and talent of the Ignite network. As the need for energy assistance continues to increase, the Fuel Fund of Maryland works hard to deliver warmth to Maryland families. The generous donation made by Stream will bring welcome relief to many families struggling to pay their utility bills, with over half of those impacted under the age of eighteen. We hope to work with Stream for years to come.”
