CEO Rob Snyder Announces Fifth Year That the Firm Has Been Honored by Platts
DALLAS (September 28, 2011) – Stream Energy, the most successful network marketer of energy services in the world, announced today that it has been named a finalist for two Platts Global Energy Awards for 2011.
Stream Energy was named a finalist for the Community Development Program of the Year Award. Stream Energy received this nomination largely in recognition for its work on behalf of Captain Hope’s Kids, a not-for-profit advocacy for homeless children in the North Texas region.
Stream Energy’s chief risk officer, Lisa Holliday, was named a finalist for the Rising Star – Individual Award. This award, according to Platts, is “for leaders who personify innovation, stimulate intelligent action to meet opportunity and execute with passion to deliver the vision.”
“It’s terrific that Stream Energy is being recognized for the fifth consecutive year on the global stage for excellence in the energy industry,” said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder. “I am especially proud of Lisa and cannot think of anyone who has done more to catalyze the success of our firm. It is also pretty cool that our entire employee family is being recognized for its charitable endeavors. We are blessed to have a generous and compassionate employee family — and it is a humbling and rewarding exercise to be fortunate enough to work daily with this group.”
Winners of the 2011 Global Energy Awards will be announced at a black-tie celebration on December 1, 2011 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
