Senior Director – Northeast Markets
Greg Martin serves as the firm’s Senior Director of Northeast Markets, overseeing its multi-state expansion program into the Northeast which commenced during late 2009.
A team member of the Stream Energy from its startup days, Greg returned to the firm during March 2013 after having departed to launch a startup energy management company offering demand response services in the Texas markets. Prior to such 2012 entrepreneurial initiative, Greg held various positions at Stream Energy including serving as head of its multi-state national expansion program as well as Director of both its Commercial Sales & Service business unit and its Residential Customer Loyalty & Retention programs. Greg initially joined Stream Energy during 2005 as a Manager of Special Projects, with a focus on corporate and transactional due diligence matters, strategy development and technology evaluations and implementations.
Immediately prior to joining Stream Energy, Greg was employed as a Summer Associate at a Boston-based law firm specializing in corporate securities law and supporting venture capital-backed debt and equity financings for start-up and early stage companies.
Greg received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame where he played soccer for the university. His soccer experiences include serving as the only three-time captain in the history of the Notre Dame men’s soccer program as well as representing the United States national team in the 1999 Youth World Championship in New Zealand. Greg also studied law briefly at the St. Louis University School of Law, is fluent English and Spanish and resides in Dallas, Texas.
