Director (Non-Executive)

A non-executive Director of the firm, Colin Raymond is the non-executive Chairman of Compass Well Services, an oilfield services pressure pumping firm that he co-founded in 2010.

From 2006 through 2010, Mr. Raymond was a Managing Director with Natural Gas Partners (“NGP”), a leading private equity firm in the energy industry that served as the largest outside institutional investor in Stream Energy. While Colin only formally joined Stream Energy’s Board of Directors during 2010, for four years previously had served as a Board Observer in connection with his duties at NGP.

Before joining NGP, Mr. Raymond was a Vice President of Hunt Oil Company, where he was responsible for the commercial aspects of the Company’s Peruvian Camisea gas, liquids and Liquid Natural Gas project. Before he joined Hunt Oil, Mr. Raymond spent three years as a Partner of Soros Private Equity Partners. Prior to Soros Private Equity, he worked as a Vice President of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners from 1996 to 1999 where he participated in all aspects of the private equity business. Before Morgan Stanley, Mr. Raymond was an investment banker at both Wolfensohn & Co. and J.P. Morgan & Co.

Mr. Raymond received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honors Economics from the University of Michigan.
